Albanian Energy Minister Damian Gjiknuri recently said connecting Albania and Macedonia 400 KV high voltage transmission project will start construction in the first half of next year.
The Albanian Government had also signed a loan agreement worth 30 million euros with Germany, for the high-voltage transmission project a project.
Damian Gjiknuri said that Albania is vigorously promote energy reform, the promotion of regional cooperation in the energy market. Macedonia's high-voltage transmission project construction will greatly enhance the regional power supply.
