Cameroon telecommunications company disclosed that connecting Cameroon to Brazil path survey of submarine fiber optic cable system is expected to be completed in December this year.
According to reports, the submarine fiber optic cable system connecting Brazil Fortaleza to the coastal city Kribi in Cameroon of submarine fibre-optic cable, is about 6,000-kilometer, the total investment is worth about 270 billion CFA francs.
This system is the first direct connections in Africa and South America submarine optical fiber cable system, known as "South Atlantic road" (South Atlantic Inter Link), developed jointly by the Cameroonian enterprises such as telecommunications and China Unicom, China's Huawei Technologies company, planned in 2018, the fourth quarter and put into use.
Cameroon telecommunications company said, this is the fourth submarine cable system of access in Cameroon, the other three SAT 3 systems respectively, WACS submarine cable systems, as well as ACE submarine cable system.
