A few days ago, China and Pakistan signed a $2 billion deal, to work together for large coal-fired power plants in southern Pakistan's Sindh province.
It is reported that the cost of the project will be more than $2 billion, including 3.8 million tons of coal mining, and the construction of a 660 MW power station near the mine.
China will fund $500 million, and Pakistan will provide $500 million, the two sides mainly by China development bank and Habib bank funding.
The coal-fired power plant project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017 and will become China's first project - Pakistan economic corridor planning.
China-Pakistan economic corridor will be Gwadar in Pakistan and China Xinjiang Kashgar between road, railway, and energy infrastructure of a network of 3000 kilometers.
Economic corridor construction will help Pakistan recover its economy, and promote China's border economic growth.
