Recently, GE announced that Falvez Energy has invested in the 163-MW Falvez Astra wind farm project in Texas.
GE Energy Financial Services and BNP Paribas will also provide 50% of the long-term tax for the project.
The wind farm project is located about 30 km south of Amarillo, Texas, and covers about 11,000 acres.
The project includes the provision of 68 GE 2.4-107 turbines, GE will also provide a 10-year operation and maintenance services.
The project's electricity will be connected to the Sharyland Utilities Substations and the Texas Electricity Commission through a 14-mile, 345-kilovolt, new transmission line.
