It is reported that Nexans will attend the 2016 International Grand Conference in CIGRE2016, held in Paris from 21 to 26 August, and showcase innovative high-voltage cable solutions, including submarine high-voltage DC cables, submarine high-voltage AC cables, superconducting cables, High-voltage overhead wires and related accessories.
Nexans said the highly anticipated 525-kilovolt HVDC cable will be on display at the current international conference. The 525-kilovolt submarine HVDC cable is a NordLink project for connecting Norway and Germany, as well as NSL projects connecting Norway and the UK. At the same time, the world's highest voltage level of 420 kV submarine high-voltage AC cable will also debut this meeting.
It is noteworthy that Nexans new 66-kilovolt aluminum submarine array cable, offshore floating wind farm for cable design and for the German AmpaCity project superconducting cable will also be unveiled in Paris.
