The Government of Nepal has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the cost of the Electricity Transmission Expansion and Supply Improvement Project.
Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by the Government of Norway.
The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding process. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Nepal Electricity Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of New Khimti- Barhabise 220/400 kV Transmission Line (“the Facilities”).
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope Bidding Procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
Bidders shall have a minimum average annual turnover of US$ 23.2 Million. Bidders are required to have satisfactory experience in at least 2 (Two) contracts within the last 7 (seven) years, with a value of at least US$ 23.2 Million each.
