Recently, Indian wind power giant Senvion (Suzlon Energy Group) announced that it has signed a contract with the French renewable energy developer Eurowatt to develop a 56.1 MW wind power project in France.
Under the terms of the contract, Senvion will equip the Grand deMère, Terres Noires and Croix Noire 1 and Croix Noire 2 wind farms with 24 2 to 3 MW wind turbines to supply enough electricity to more than 18,600 families in France.
As early as May of this year, Senvion and Eurowatt signed the Croix Noire 1 wind farm and Croix Noire 2 wind farm contract.
It is expected that by the end of this year, the two wind farm projects will be completed, the second quarter of 2017 will begin debugging.
Senvion will also provide comprehensive maintenance services for all four wind farms for up to 15 years and will also open a Senvion service center.

As of October, Senvion wind power installed capacity in France has more than 2000 megawatts. Senvion was founded in France in 2002 and has over 1,000 wind turbines in France.
