National Grid will start to lay a 20 km submarine cable connecting 30 MW wind farm to Block Island, Rhode Island.

Brook Island, National Grid substation delivered the first component, the foundation of the substation construction progress. Submarine cables will be laid in the seabed target depth of 4-6 feet.
