Sign memorandum of cooperation

Thailand telecommunications Council and India Tata communications, a telecommunications giant cable partnership will be signed memorandum of cooperation. This is the Thailand Government plans to seek more strategic partners as part of the telecommunications industry.

Tata communications is India multinational holding company Tata telecom companies. Tata communications and its subsidiaries operate one of the world's largest global network, the Tata global network. Network around the globe and through submarine cables and terrestrial cable connecting main commercial places.

Thailand telecommunications Council is running Thailand international telecommunications infrastructure of State-owned companies, including Thailand's international gateway and satellite and submarine cable networks connections.

Advantages of Tata communications

According to the MOU, Thailand plans to expand their international reach and capacity of the Telecommunications Council, so as to support the business development and to promote Thailand's digital economy.

Tata communications to Thailand and its neighbors the interconnection of a cost-effective, scalable solution to support its global operations and customer service.

Agreed good faith consultations to explore the formation of a possibility of cable companies and other telecommunications services. This will be good for both companies.

Recently, the Thailand Government announced funding of 20 billion baht for bridging the digital divide, improving the country's cable capacity, of which 5 billion baht will be used to support Thailand communications authority of a submarine cable project.
