Power Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has released news that reconstruction work of the 132 kV transmission line between Niger State Regina and Kotangora area has already started.
Due to the heavy rain on the 18th of this month, This transmission line was destroyed, 4 transmission line towers connecting the two regions also have been destroyed, causing power outages in the region, and the power supply situation surrounding also has been affected.
Therefore, the company decided to reconstruct the transmission line connecting Regina and Kotangora region, essentially the same route as the original route, at the same time,
more robust transmission line towers will be adopted to ensure the stability and security of the power supply.
