Cable routine test

Cable test in three types:

1. Routine test (R): refers to the manufacturer in all manufacturing of the finished cable length on the test.

2. The type test (T): the form refers to when testing in accordance with the principle of general business, a model of this part cable test before delivery. To prove that the cable has a good performance, and can satisfy the use requirement. The nature of the type testing once these tests have been carried out, doesn't have to be repeated, if change the cable materials or design that may influence the reliability of the cable, the type testing must be repeated.

3. Sampling test (S): sampling test on the finished cable sample or on the original from the finished cable test, to test whether cable products comply with the requirements of the finished product.

The above is a standard, also can understand it,

1. The test is for each factory must do a test routine. The same as the routine.

2. Sampling test: for some performances all have no way to check, so can only take part of the test, for example, the product diameter, and conductor resistance, so that you can only draw part to test.

3. Type tests: almost all the performance tests, for all aspects of the request the cable inspection, show that the cable is in conformity with requirements, including aging, high and low temperature, this experiment has proved that is ok, don't have to do every batch, factories are required to do a few years time, technology and material or change to do the type test again.
