YJV cable is one of the most widely used power cable. It mainly used in the main line to the power transmitting of power cable.In fact, YJV22 cable belongs to the YJV cable type. 

There are the main difference between YJV Cable and YJV22 Cable according to the following items

1.Construction: Compared with the YJV cable, YJV22 cable has two layers of protection, one is inner sheath and the other metal armor protection. While YJV cable only have one layer protection, without inner sheath and metal armor protection. And the insulation color of YJV22 cable is translucent. 

2.Application: The full name of YJV cable is XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable, what the important role it plays is to withstand the laying of a certain degree of traction strength, in general, YJV Cable (XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable) can be laid indoors, in tunnels, in cable ditches or in pipes, also can be buried in the soil, but only in relatively loose soils. 

And the full name of YJV22 cable is XLPE insulated steel tape armored PVC sheathed power cable, its main role is to withstand mechanical external force, but it can not be used to withstand the huge tensile force because of easily damaged. YJV22 cable (XLPE insulated steel tape armored PVC sheathed power cables ) are mainly laid in the interior, tunnels, cable ditches or underground buried. 

In comparison, YJV22 cable using a range of YJV cable to use a larger range, not only YJV cable within the scope of use, but also can be used in mechanical external force.

3.Working temperature: 

Though the same working temperature of YJV and YJV22 cable and keep 90°C of working, but the max temperature cannot over 250°C once the cable short circuit, and the time with five seconds limited. 

4.Characteristics: Armored cable YJV22 with a metal jacket, generally used in outdoor overhead and trench buried, have better protection performance. The maximum rated operating temperature of YJV22 cable is 90 ℃, except electrical properties, mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance, but also has the advantages of light weight, laying away from the gap and so on. And YJV cable has longer life .

5.From the technical and economic indicators, YJV22 are better than the YJV cable parameters , but the cost of YJV22 cable is more expensive. YJV cable recommended in civilian buildings, the current carrying capacity than the YJV cable, what the more important is that in electrical fire, due to its insulating material does not contain chlorine, burning does not produce toxic gas armored cable, which is usually used in our YJV22. In fact, armored cable is a cable with a metal jacket, generally used in outdoor overhead and trench buried, have better protection performance.
