According to Reuters latest news that the British government, the Chinese nuclear power company and the French power company EDF will formally signed today Hinckley angle C nuclear power plant project key agreement.
British, French and Chinese tripartite government officials will be in London to attend the signing ceremony.
Hinckley Point C is the first nuclear power station built in the UK in the past 20 years. It is also known as "the most expensive nuclear power project in history", with a total cost of about 18 billion pounds and a Chinese investment of about 6.1 billion pounds.
