Recently, Brazil Telecom announced, that the Brazil - European submarine cable will start building in April 2016, The project is developed by Brazil Telecom and Spain Islalink.
The investment cost of 5900 km of submarine cable is about $250Million, and the data transmission rate is up to 30Tbps.
The submarine cable will depart from Brazil St Paul, Santos, and finally arrived at the port of sines of Portugal.
The submarine cable will also allow the connection to Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, and Paris, the flow of exchange points.
