The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank towards the cost of REHABILITATION AND UPGRADING OF IRRIGATION AND WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PROJECT IN PASHTUN ZARGUN DISTRICT (RUIWRMP) and intends to apply part of the funds through Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW) to cover eligible payments under the Contract for PROCUREMENT OF WORKS FOR SHAFLAN CANAL REHABILITATION & UPGRADING WORKS. Bidding is open to all local Bidders from the country as defined in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods and Works under ISDB financing.
The Ministry of Energy and Water of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of SHAFLAN CANAL REHABILITATION & UPGRADING WORKS that includes, but is not limited to the following;
1. Bed Bar with Sluice, Approach Channel, side spillway, scour sluice, and Gated Intake structure.
2. Canal Associated Structures Rehabilitation.
3. Canal Bank Protection works.
4. Existing Cross Drainage structures rehabilitation, and Canal Remodelling in specified reaches.
