Volkswagen Norway's Innovation Norway will select 10,000 families that are not in power in Romania to finance their networking.
According to local media reports, bank representatives have begun to start the family selection of documents. The Romanian authorities have sent a list of 21,000 families without electricity. However, Romania has estimated that 100,000 households are not energized.
Earlier this month, the Romanian Department of Energy drafted a document showing that the number of households without electricity was provided by state-owned electricity company Electrica. In addition, the Department of Energy does not have its own data or research.
In 2016, Romania and Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Norway signed two memorandum of cooperation. These countries will allocate 10 million euros for rural households in Romania, 10,000 families to achieve the network.
