By 2030, wind power will account for 20 percent of the world's electricity supply, according to the International Wind Energy Association's Global Wind Prospects report released this week.
The report said that by 2030, wind power installed capacity will reach 2110 GW, 2.4 million new jobs each year to reduce carbon emissions by more than 3.3 million tons, accounting for the global power supply ratio of 20%, while also attracting investment of 200 billion per year US dollars.
"Wind power has become one of the most competitive renewable energy sources," said Steve Sawyer, president of the International Wind Energy Association.
"If the objectives of the Paris agreement are met, more coal-fired power stations will be shut down in the future, Is the wind power, solar power, hydropower, and other renewable energy sources.
In 2015, the world's new wind power installed capacity of 63 GW, total wind power installed capacity of 433 GW.
At present, the global development of wind power has more than 80 countries, of which 28 countries' wind power installed capacity has more than 1 GW.
The report pointed out that with the country's renewable energy support policies introduced in the future, wind power will also be further developed.
